The State Chancellor's office has released the 3rd Edition of the
Program and Course Approval Handbook.

Curriculum Deadlines for CIC

An Important Note regarding Certificates of Achievement and Associate Degrees: Although March 11, 2010 is the CIC deadline to have curriculum approved for insertion in the 2010-2011 catalog; new certificates of achievement and associate degrees must also be sent to the California Community College Chancellor's Office (CCCCO).  Due to budget cuts and mandated furlough days the CCCCO is behind in program approvals.  Plan ahead and send programs through the approval process early.

Guidelines to Course Revisions:

The CurricUNET Steering Committee developed a document to assist faculty with creating course proposals.  The guidelines document describes most curricular situations and indicates what type of proposal to create.  It also indicates the impact on the course number, articulation, equivalency and programs.  To access the document click on the "Guidelines to Course Revisions" from the main menu "Links" section.
